Recorded in Fort Washington Park in Eastern Pennsylvania. For me, this is a melancholy recording, made at the end of the day at the end of summer as the park was closing and people were getting ready to leave. These cricket sounds pierce the heart with the longing of autumn. You will hear typical fall sounds such as squirrels and 2 or 3 types of crickets. Also, listen for some jays toward the end, light traffic, with people gradually becoming fainter. At 1:45, 4:15, and 7:40 jet aircraft pass overhead and at 7:20 I think I hear a prop airplane. Recorded on an iPhone and cleaned up in Audacity.
