This is what it sounds like, when tuning from standard to an open D major chord, on a electric guitar. A little distorted, but that's intentionally.

Recorded with a superlux E523/D microphone, through a Behringer eurorack MX602A mixer, plugged in a SB live soundcard. Recorded in Audacity on ubuntu 8.04.2 linux.
