Midnight one and a half minute audio clip of a vocal American Alligator. I am thinking the loud 'bang' at the beginning of the one and a half minute audio is the alligator slapping its tail in the muck and/or water. The drop bag and recorder were set up along a sawgrass dominated marsh for overnight audio in the St. Marks National Wildlife refuge. Most of the evening's audio featured Pig frogs and Green Tree Frogs. Around midnight though the alligator decided to become vocal. Sony PCM recorder in a dry bag with LOM microphones and windshields.
