Gatwick Airport, West Sussex, England, United Kingdom

Sounds from inside the cockpit of a Fokker F27 aircraft during the approach and landing phase. The engines are Rolls Royce Dart engines which have a very distinct and recognizable whining noise. Other sounds in the cockpit include the Landing touchdown at 1:22 and the compressed air noises from the Aircraft's pneumatic system which was used to power the nose wheel steering and the wheel brakes after landing.

The sound was extracted from a raw video recorded on a Sony TRV33e MiniDV camcorder.
