This is an academic electronic music work. If classical music is to create a world based on the existing timbre, then academic electronic music is to create the basis of this world -- new sound. I innovatively use a cat’s cry to create a magnificent atmosphere and the breath of life via changing the playing speed, the pitch, etc. By composing this work, I hope to express the grandeur of the universe and the pursuit of a belief in life. The initial beast-like sound symbolizes the birth of life, the atmosphere created by lightning, drums and the overtone of a cat's cry is symbolic of life, while the long bell is symbolic of faith. Many elements are woven together, hoping to make the audience think about life and faith. At the end of the work, I show the fragility of life in a humorous way. In this enjoyable process, I was able to create new sound sources and gain inspirations.
