Jaime Lopes is a Designer and Engineer from Southern Africa. When he was just a small boy, desperate to listen to his favourite cassette, he hooked up wires from a mains socket to the battery terminals on a little tape deck. The resulting explosion when the switch was flipped left Jaime with two great passions – problem solving and sound systems! Having graduated Top Sound Engineering Student from Damelin, he immediately returned to lecture Electronics, Video Editing and Digital Audio Theory. After a move to full-time work maintaining Sound Systems and leading volunteers at his church, Jaime was thrust into running the website, social media and all the design work for a rapidly growing church. Over a decade later Jaime still loves to fix things, and create things, both audio and visual.
