A search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI)-appropriate tone at 1/1000 of hydrogen line electromagnetic radio wave frequency, f_tone = 1420.405751768Hz. It's modulated by a Fourier sum of sine waves to make a sawtooth followed by a discontinuity (pattern break) then meets a pure sine envelope.
The previous sample (https://freesound.org/people/JackEgerton/sounds/835148/) was rectified to make higher harmonics. This one is non-rectified to make a far purer tone. Check the spectrogram to appreciate that. There is no infrasonic beating as in the attached sample, but there is still a modulating envelope that changes amplitude every 1/4 of the sample. Just one harmonic with some spectral width.
Dr Jack Samuel Egerton (musician Jack Egerton, maybe Frank Jones) hears ah, ah, ah, ah in this sample and Me, Me, Me, Me in the linked sample in this description.
