A busy Tribecca Standard restaurant with noisy people sitting inside and under an extended, concrete roof outside. Recorder was placed under the extended roof with one mic pointing inside towards the restaurant and the other pointed more towards the dripping, rainy weather outside. This added to the immersive, stereo, audio experience. Rainy, drippy, thunder, crowded, restaurant sounds.
Technical Specifications: Recorded with a Zoom H6 recorder using the attached stereo XY microphones. The sound was post-processed to make it more crisp and impactful (basic EQ, dB adjustment and trimming on Reaper DAW). Recorded outside (field-recording) on a rainy and overcast afternoon in Pretoria, South Africa.
