I think the level is a bit low, too. It's a series of brush plays and the gain control needs to be set for hard hits. So you can normalize it when you use this. Even if the signal is low, the wave form is well described at 24bit.
I was ready to say you "It's a shame that the recording level is so low", then I saw the recording frequency and the bit-depth... worth a 10.
