Creepy Forest Monsters.wav

This is a composition made entirely with other Freesounds. The idea was to make a spooky forest horror soundscape using other people's work as the building blocks. I wanted to make it creepy with ethereal drones layered underneath and sinister atmosphere.

To create this piece I used a combination of pitch shifting, long reverbs and filters to shape the soundscape. I also duplicated the trees creaking and panned them either side of the stereo field to get a sense of depth to the forest. All done inside Steinberg Nuendo.
