A horror type soundscape I created. Dubbed "the blind watchmaker", this piece was an experiment in producing a sountrack to a completely imaginative moving image. It enables the listener to create their own mental picture and feel several dynamic emotions.
The composition includes a changing atmosphere, erratic noises, rising discordant strings, shock-tactical sounds. The ending consists of a synthetic orchestral style of music that is unsettling and obscure.
The piece could be used for anything that needs a scary and horrific soundscape to accompany other media. Perhaps a scene in a film.
The preview version of my files on Freesound are transcoded at a low bit-rate which produces artefacts (short high pitched blips) and a reduced sound quality. Please download to hear the original high quality sound file.
