A thunderclap that struck perhaps only 100 metres away. It is sudden and loud with many reverberant rumbles occurring afterwards. There is some rain noise on a tin roof throughout the recording.
This sound has a few problems. It was just too cool of a sound to throw away, so I fixed it up as best I could.
Someone near me screamed during the first second of the thunder. I tried to reduce the scream as much as possible without decreasing the sound quality, but it can still be heard if you listen closely.
There was also a bit of clipping, but I fixed that with Audacity's repair tool.
