Tibetan Buddhist style chant. This is my own voice recorded on a tascam dr-1 field recorder, edited in Live. a touch of reverb getting stronger/longer in the mid section, then back to dry at the end. this is an example of how much more powerful this type of chanting can be in a large hall/temple/cave etc.

This is a wonderful recording. I am a Buddhist meditation & yoga teacher. I create sounds for meditation and for yoga therapy students and clients. I mix sounds such as this with minimalist meditative music I create or singing bowls. The tracks I create will be used for meditation practice, and may be used in apps, which would be available to students at a very small cost (therefore, it is commercial, but a very small commercial market, just enough to cover costs). May I please use this sample?

Many thanks for this sound. I used this sound as part of a piece of sound art for an exhibition being curated by a friend as part of a final year college project. Unfortunately not a paid commission otherwise I would pay you! You and freesound.org are credited. I may upload the completed work to soundcloud after the exhibition. The whole piece is about 6 minutes long and uses many sound files. Contact me if you'd like to have a link to it if I do.
