Recording of a large cabbage being hit against a wooden door frame.
Heavy thud, crunch, and slight high-end leaf crackle. It also has some wood resonance.
Recorded with a Zoom H4N Pro field recorder.
Corrective Eq performed.
This could be used for the action the sound suggests. I also used it (with high end removed), to represent someone bashing their head off a door frame.

It was for someone banging their head against a wooden door frame. I didn't fancy hitting my own head off the door frame, and the cabbage was the closest thing I had!

Exactly the sound I needed for a wooden gangplank hitting the ground. I do wonder how you landed on chucking a cabbage at a doorframe, though.
