Recorded in dynamometer shed at Summernats 26th annual Street Machine and Hot Rod automobile festival 5 January 2013 contesting "Horsepower Hero" event. The car's drive axle is chained down on a "chassis dynomometer" and the rear-wheel horsepower output is measured at peak effort. Large crowds in granstands and standing room.
Recorded on Tascam DR-05 with inbuilt microphones.
This hot-rod GM Torana with monster 496 cubic-inch Dual Turbocharged V8 engine recorded 1250 horsepower at the rear wheel. A true "Horsepower Hero".
