Falls Creek Falls drops about 200 feet over several drops into a shallow pool surrounded by high rock walls. In the springtime a lot of water is falling and makes a huge amount of noise. There is a lot of low frequency energy and this recording should be turned up really loud for the full effect.
Recorded with a pair of Sound Professional binaural mics (MS-TFB-2) inside a Rode Blimp into a modified Marantz PMD661.
