I have worked in the music business professionally for over 25 years. Most people would know me under the pseudonym Ammeris Gill that I went by when I worked for Image-Line/FL Studio (also went by Buckskin and Buck as a forum moderator for I-L). If you've ever used that program then you have used my samples and presets as I did most of them, including the sample packs. I also had the company SampleCell for the last 25 years and have also worked with numerous artists from around the world. Mostly work as a producer/sound engineer, but make music as well. There are also some for purchase Reason ReFills from a long time ago that I released.

Most Foley SFX were recorded with either a Marantz PMD 660 or a Tascam DR-40X, usually using a matched pair of oktava mk-012's an Audio-Technica AT4053B or the Tascams built in mics.

For anything else, well the list of mics would be extensive. Normally using either of the portable devices listed above, or, depending on which studio I'm in a PreSonus Studio 1824c or a Behringer U-Phoria UMC1820. For those who wonder why such a cheap audio interface and such a more expensive one. That's easy. They are equally as good and I owned the PreSonus first.
