Sitting down in a river bed at sundown, I record the symphony of frogs around me. You can hear two species of frogs (one much lower in frequency than the other). A door slams, and they all shut up for a bit, then they start again, all at once. Recorded with the m-audio microtrack and soundman binaural microphones.
I managed to take a picture of one of the frogs the next day:

Beautiful sound! And the picture is great too.
Next time you can save time is you catch the frog and put it for a couple minutes inside a plastic bag along with a few cubes of ice, a trick often done to photograph amphibians and insects (no harm to the animal) :-)
