Stereo recording. Air being sucked up an empty woodburner due to venturi effect on a windy day (30mph, gusting to 45mph).The door glass is loose as well as damaged and the seals need replacing, this creates a peculiar wailing/howling noise that culminates in a rumble within the chimney flue at the highest wind velocities. Fortunately it only happens at a certain wind direction, which is infrequent. Recorded about 1m from stove.Rode NT4 + Dead Kitten > FEL battery pre amp > Zoom H2 line in.

Unbelievably beautiful. Takes me back to my early years spent in the land of ferocious winters and time in the wintry mountains in the middle of nowhere. Love it, love it, love it. Could listen to it forever. So purifying and revitalizing. How I envy the dessert monks. Cannot thank you enough. The ultimate beauty.
