Stream sounds recorded in Castle Rock State Park, California, on a small creek crossing the Saratoga Gap Trail close to the Interconnector Trail, by a little waterfall. 25 January, 2016.
After significant rainfall, the creeks were much more active than they had been for a while.
Recording setup was ORTF, positioned at the edge of the streams, using two Sennheiser MKH8040s, into a Roland R-26 recorder. High frequencies have been boosted to compensate for the windshields used.
