custom sounds of heavy intense punches and kicks.
The inspiration behind the punch sound came from when I was watching one of the tmnt 2012 episode, "Panic in the swers". At the nightmare sequence, Shredder flew rapid punches on raphael and 3 more with his fingers alone. This scene gave me an idea that to make the punches more intense and powerful, I played with some gunshot sounds for the punches.
