This sample was created using a hopelessly artificial and dull synth perc sound and putting it through a VST Amp simulator with the overdrive setting cranked up and then applying a bit of reverb. The resulting sound is still synthetic, but at least has got a bit of "soul" to it after processing.This sample is very similar to synthperc_001.wav, but I was looking for a slightly longer sound, so this one has got a bit more sustain resulting in a longer sound.
