This sample was created in Ableton Live 7 using xoxos excellent percussion synthesis plug-in "Snare".This free plug-in based on physical modelling and can be found at:http://www.breathcube.com/vst/vst.html#effectsThe plug-in can produce some decent snare sounds. Do not expect "instant gratification", though, you will need to experiment with the parameters in order to obtain good snare sounds - which is part of the fun, in my opinion!Please note that the plug-in can produce very loud sounds, especially when its parameters are re-set. A limiter plug-in (or low volume settings) are a must to protect your speakers and your ears!The sound 006 glitch_001.wav is an example of the kind of loud sounds that can be produced.This sample is an example of a useable snare sound, with strong high frequencies components.
