Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival I saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead I didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what I hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.
