Hey, well basically i need a soundscape for ambiance in a short film set in the 1800's. If you've watched the Sweeney Todd movie that is exactly what i need. I needed it yesterday so your assistance would be greatly apreciated. I can make my own soundscape if i have the individual elements but its been a killer just trying to find them. Its a scene set outside in a street with people walking past etc. So what i need mainly is crowd footsteps on stone/cobblestone (or anything that you think sounds feasablie) crowd waller (now this is set in the UK so it needs a bit of accents) and finally busy sounds of working etc. All the scenes together add up to about 7 minues so i will most likely loop it. Also if you have any links to horse and carrages that would be good to put in 1 or 2 spots, but i dont want it in the total loop or it will be noticable.
Also if you know of any that are for purchase (copyrighted), let me know as it might end up being worth it. But if you can free is good so other people can re-use it.
Thanks heaps for anyone who is able to help, i'm desperate.
Here are possible sounds to help you; ????????

way of search
a small course "effectively search
1] know what you want, you hunt, horse and carriage
2] think a moment about how long a sound will be. 300sec. seems long enough.
3] pressure in the left menu to search
4], press 'click here' for advanced searches.
5] Enter the two keywords separated by +, so "horse +cariagge"., the system searches all files less than 300sec. both horse and cariage.
if I do I get 19 results.
Of course, the sounds of user dobroide and robinhood76 are good.
good luck with the film and please place post a link to forum. and I am very curious.
