imagine dragging a metal bar along a dryer exhaust host (also made of metal) with reverb
I am clearly not a sound engineer
desired sounds occurs frequently in track:
05s - 08s
14s - 17s
26s - 28s
44s - 46s
etc
I do not have the skill set to extract the sound without the background music
The nearest mechanical sound I can think of is a jaw harp ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=24791
You could try slowing it down and/or pitch shifting.
thanks.. that is not exactly what I had hoped for..
what are the correct sound-engineer adjectives to describe the sound in my first post?
It's a little bit like the twang of a metal bass string ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=69732
This is in the same genre (springy metal twang with reverb) ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=82229
