Hi!

I'm trying to identify a music loop which I think I've downloaded from Freesound around June 2025. I've spent many hours searching on the platform with no luck. I'm new to this and I didn't keep proper track of the source, lesson learned.

Using this online tool

https://www.aha-music.com

I've managed to find out that the same clip has been used in this song (you can clearly hear it at the beginning)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjT7mhShy14&list=RDmjT7mhShy14&start_radio=1

I've contacted the artist (TAV) but I wanted to try asking this forum too.

I'm using this loop to build and app and I would like to properly credit the artist, that's all smile

thank you!

Hi,

> proper track of the source

So probably a temporary account that you don't know the name of any more or a download workaround was used, otherwise you can check https://freesound.org/home/attribution/ for all files your account downloaded while logged in, or another account's downloads like https://freesound.org/people/tandradew/?downloaded_sounds=javascript%3Avoid%280%29%3B

Does the filename and metadata not contain any hints?

Can you upload the actual loop somewhere? (ideally so we can access the original file to access the metadata, like google drive, dropbox etc)

Hi qubodup,

I was able to find the original file in another computer, and managed to identify the source (it came for another platform).

In any case, thank you for your kind response!
