If you listen to the song "So Cold" by Breaking Benjamin it's used as a fill into the verse. You can hear it at 0:09 here: youtube.com/watch?v=rTiGlNDnOtE (it crescendos into the verse)
I'm trying to duplicate this scratch, so any help from you guitarists or DJ's would be appreciated. it maybe be a guitar scratch, but I've heard very similar vinyl scratches.
you can download the part I'm talking about from here: memoryofamelody.com/samples/socold.wav
maybe one of you audio experts might know of a way to EQ out everything except the scratch. I know that part can't be completely isolated but anything would help. it'd be much nicer if you know of a way to duplicate just the scratch though
