So here's the deal: I recently got a trail camera with night vision, and had the idea to make a horror monster/story using night vision footage. I set up the camera and tried crawling around in the darkness to see if I could make some monster footage.

Well, the IR lights and camera are so good that it's obviously just me in the IR light. The light does make my eyes glow, which is pretty unsettling, but I need a mask, costume, or something to make this really believable.

That's where others have a chance to design the monster. Submit a monster concept or costume idea and I'll try creating it to the best of my ability. I'll make the parts, put 'em on, and film it in the woods, and we'll find out what works and what doesn't. You can suggest moves or gestures for me to do and we can slowly build a library of monster footage. Once we have something really good, we can make a horror story for YouTube or something.

My initial idea is some kind of mad monk, like, a monk/hermit who crawls around and recites religious verses at you, and seems to have every holy book in the world memorized, because he quotes from all of them. These verses could be tied to story or gameplay elements that he appears near. For instance, he could quote 2 Kings 2:23-25 (in which Elisha sends bears to attack and maul 42 kids for calling him bald) shortly before the player gets attacked by bears in the woods.

What do you think?

Here's one of the better trail cam pics so you can see the kind of quality and vibe we're getting here (open in new tab for giant size):
