I remember having an early version of this, and it worked, but options were quite limited. Everything wanted to take on an odd trumpet-like quality - fast, harsh attack and sputtering decay. I remember getting workable results with the clarinet model (which no longer seems to be present) but then I just ended up writing a part for Sonatina Orchestra instead.
