macOS app populated by FreeSound recordings

    Hello everyone,

I am developing a macOS app that appears in the menu bar and that gives the possibility to play sounds in the background to improve focus, work and study sessions. I would really really like to use FreeSound's recordings for this. In a few days I will start posting some screenshots, but in the meantime I would love to have the community's opinion on this!

It's a great initiative! But aren't there a lot of apps that already do this? If so what is going to be different in your app?

Basically nothing. I just want to develop and app with a great sound library and curated UI. For now I am not aiming at putting it on the mac app store, rather I would like to share it with the users of the community and - if we can turn it into a good, polished app - maybe submit it for publication in the Mac App Store. But for now it's just for fun.

In a couple of days I will probably post the first version, but in the meantime I would really appreciate if someone could suggest some great sound that could be added

You can always use my relaxation music: https://freesound.org/people/ShortRecord/packs/29313/
That would be a great honor. Also the music created by the users Erokia and klankbeeld are great.
