What do we do if we want to edit the description of a sample after it's been uploaded?
Like, I might want to add more description keywords that come to me only after I've submitted the description.
Oh, and in addition to the search through the sample descriptions, have you given any thought at all to something like Technorati tags? http://www.technorati.com/help/tags.html
I know they're more common for blogs, but might make sense in a case like this. If these sounds are truly to be free, that might be something to consider.

Yeah, i think editing descriptions would be an interesting addition.
More on descriptions...
The main page says this:
How can you help?
Individuals
In order to test our initial browsing code (which we are developing right now) we need a starting set of samples and descriptions of those samples. You can help us by supplying us sets of samples and text-files (with the same name as the samples) which describe those samples. If the recording is a bass drum, the text-file should say "bass drum", but if possible add more data: when was it recorded? With what microphone? What type of bass drum? Add as much information about the sample as you can!
Is this main page text to change, or am I missing a step somewhere?
Thanks,

it's out of date...
I like the 'tag' idea, but it's quite hard to come up with a collection of tags yourself...
Perhaps we can have the community add tags themselves, and then present the user with the previously used tags?
