So... by now we have already accummulated a considerable number of sounds tagged for dare-28.
It will come as no surprise to most of you that now I ask you to create a music piece.
The surprise, however, will be that the music piece that is sellected as the winner will be played on an online radio station!
RULES:
1) music piece must contain sounds that have been submitted for dare-28. - Can contain other sounds and use instruments (recorded or virtual) but the dare-28 sounds must be an important part of the music piece itself.
2) Lenght: must be between 2 and 4 min.
3) Submission: upload your piece in a suitable place (e.g. Soundcloud) and give adequate credit for all samples used. Post on this thread with a link.
4) EDIT: Submission deadline extended to Sunday 21 Sep 2014, 23:00 GMT
5) Voting and winning: voting will start after submissions close. Detailed voting rules will be posted at this time, but you can expect that those who have submitted a piece will be required to vote.
6) Results and winner: will be announced at the end of the voting period. The voting rules (see point above) will explain how this will work.
In the meantime, feel free to continue to upload sounds for dare-28. That part of the dare never expires.
For questions or comments see use the separate thread:

Anyways this was a really unique dare, and I wanted to focus on manual distortion of the sounds, specifically with frequency and time, as radio waves technically last forever.. ... Big thanks to AlienXXX for the Dare, and the amount of time that goes into moderating them!!
Takk du!!
yep Cannonrayj, noisey and radio-active - well done

My turn. I made “Its Never Quiet(dare-2”.
https://soundcloud.com/gis_sweden/its-never-quietdare-28
>> EDIT #1: Wait! I have to take the track down for editing... Sorry
>> EDIT #2: Now Its on Soundcoud again
I used the following sounds.
- “radio07.flac” by cajo
https://www.freesound.org/people/cajo/sounds/244156/
- “radio19.flac” by cajo
https://www.freesound.org/people/cajo/sounds/244170/
Track “Main sample” and inspiration.
I use the first 33s, “part 1 and 2”
- “websdr_recording_2014-07-12T19-55-42Z_9940_11.wav” by AlienXXX
https://www.freesound.org/people/AlienXXX/sounds/244012/

https://www.freesound.org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/244678/
I generated a 55Hz (A) bass tone Audacity.
Made a pad sound in NanoStudio and used the 808 drum kit.
To make my track I used NanoStudio. It’s the 2nd song I make with it…
I tried to keep the dare-28 samples unedited. Applied fx are NanoStudio standard fx.
Deep Noise In 116bpm.
... That was a long post...
And the "8" and the ")" in the end of my track name become
Sorry... Nice dare btw.

rhythm, structure and all the rest of it

Thanks but I have to make a new version...! Made a mistake I HAVE to correct.
EDIT: Mission completed
Great work gis_sweden!!
The foreboding feeling and the atmosphere it creates is intense!!
Here's my go at it:
https://soundcloud.com/copyc4t/attack-of-the-drones
I couldn't help making a pun on "Attack of the Clones" and the fact that the harmonic part is a drone, but the intent was overall quite serious.
With a little help of a few previously uploaded sounds of mine (honorable mention for luckylittleraven as the helicopter came from one of her sounds, http://www.freesound.org/people/luckylittleraven/sounds/223069/)

But please, only one entry per person.
So edit you original post to point to the new entry. OK?

@cajo, It is where I make the sound into a series of textures that are completely different from the original sound.
Like the remix I did of 'The Dø, Dust it Off' https://soundcloud.com/chalkwoman/the-d-dust-it-off-chalk-woman
@alienxxx I just want to do it for the sake of doing it! I'm very satisfied with my entry for the dare.
Well, after all video didn't kill the radio star, so I've done a video for Attack Of The Drones

I like the video, even if its dark...
And you used some Swedish material to
Glad you like it, thank you!
I've been quite lucky with finding the kind of material I was looking for, also thanks to the Tekniska museet.
