These samples were all recorded at Third Avenue United Church in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on Sunday 16th September 2007. The occasion was a live recording of the Saskatoon Childrens' Choir at which we performed a few experiments. All sources were recorded through a Millennia Media HV-3D preamp directly to an Alesis HD24 hard disk multitrack.Impulse Responses were captured of the sanctuary, which is a fantastic sounding space. For want of a better source five examples were recorded using single handclaps. The raw impulse responses are divided between close mics (two Neumann TLM103s in ORTF configuration) and ambient (a single AKG C426B in A/B mode pointed toward the roof in the rear of the sanctuary). The raw files are 48KHz/24bit/stereo with RT60 figures of about 1.7s and 2.9s for close and ambient respectively. There are also three processed IR files at 44KHz/24bit/stereo, which are a comp of all close responses, a comp of all ambient responses, and a combination of all responses.
