This is the sound of the sirens as we could hear them on the 20th of July at 5:30 in the morning.

It was 20th of July 1974, and the time was 5:30 when the Turkish invasion started in Cyprus, and every year the sirens go off to remind us of this event.

Also every 15th of July at 8:20 in the morning the sirens also go off to remind us to the coup against the president of Cyprus Makarios which was the main reason that lead to the invasion after 5 days.

Apart from the sirens you can hear roosters, a chicken a collared dove and some traffic.
Recorded with my nexus5 mobile phone.
