Music Sound

These are a collection of sounds I took from a recent opera recording. For obvious reasons I could not upload any of the actual performance but I have here some recordings of tuning and audience from the microphone placed in the pit.

With placements limited and under instruction not to have any visible, I had to place these fairly discreetly without suspending the mic's. I used two omni DPA 4090 as a spaced pair around 3 foot above the conductor, and an AKG 414 on a cardioid pickup to the rear.
