Thanks, I used this as a fire bell for a podcast on the vigilance committees in San Francisco in the 1850's. It's called Fog City Tales... They would use a fire bell to summon their members for meetings, or when they needed to gather en masse to outnumber the thugs (in this case, "The Sydney Ducks", a group of ex-convicts from Australia (1851)..
