A commercial jet plane taking off (all of these takeoffs were recorded at a distance, so they sound far away. I was at the landing end of the runway).
Recorded with a Sennheiser 416 shotgun microphone into a SoundDevices 702 Digital Recorder, standing on the small patch of grass behind the landing strip at LAX (near the In-N-Out Burger).
