I needed an off-stage sound effect of a character filling a glass of water. The play was set in an old cottage situated in isolated countryside in the north of England. Whilst helping build scenery for another show, I suddenly realized that the old stone sink and taps in our paint-shop would fulfill what I wanted. So armed with a glass and my Edirol ....
