Standing five feet from lava slowly moving down a slope, near the ocean, and near Volcanoes National Park. You can hear the crackling of lava, which sounds similar to wood in a wood fireplace (but a little more hollow, or plastic-like). This recording is too windy for use in production, but can be used for research.

Recorded on 1 January 2013 with a Zoom H4. Light edits done in Logic.
