Recording of some sort of wood (probably cottonwood) being pulled apart. Has a lot of natural room reverberation, but at lower level. The stereo imaging seems unstable. Was originally recorded for smashing sound effects for a radio theater play. Cannot remember the mic used, perhaps SM-58, or a small diaphragm condenser; but it probably went through a Sytek pre into a Gadget Labs Wav824 interface.
