Mix of about 4 separate runs of an Analog Box circuit designed to sound just human enough to be disturbing. The first version freaked out my dog. I can't stand to listen to it very much, so I may have missed some things. Oh well. You might use it as a special effect where someone dreams of hell, or something like that. I first put it into the musical pack because there is some creepy tonal singing in the background, but then I decided to move it to my backgrounds pack -- there is a somewhat "better" version there called UnrelentingAgony2. Warning: if you are a very sensitive person, you may want to avoid listening to this, and otherwise just keep reminding yourself that it was generated entirely by a virtual synthesizer circuit. No humans, monsters, demons, cats, or babies were harmed in producing this sound bite, despite what you may think you hear. It's lots of oscillators and filters, some delays, etc. That's all.

It occurs to me that you might not find the similar but (IMO) better version because its in a different pack and, well, freesound's "similar sounds" won't even suggest one as being like the other (which is baffling). So here it is: http://www.freesound.org/people/zimbot/sounds/193348/
