Downloaded this clip for use in a class assignment for "Digital Storytelling" MOOC through Coursera.
maybe using it for music sfx
Sure, I asked permission to the musicians to put in in Freesound under CC
thanks, I fixed it
full-stop at the end prevents the link http://github.com/MTG/sms-tools from working.
Very nice. Thankyou!
Would I actually be able to use this piece under a CC Attribution license in a film I'm making? As far as I can see, this is not originally CC, and well, doesn't sound like an official recording.
Bir sarkisin sen .. ömur boyu surecek ...
A classic of turkish music, tank you !
nice catch. :))
Beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Good recording! Using it in my audiobook.
I was looking for a sound for a little animated presentation of a book for kids, about an artist from Rajasthan. It's perfect, thanks! :-)
It isnt lon enough
hello thank you for your sound i put it in my mix its a present for freesound :)
"How shall I mention the attribution in the film credit?"
Credit the Roma people of Turkey.
"Sure, just reference freesound.org"
That's great, I love freesound.org but how can record musicians' art and then act like it's yours to dictate? That's not right.
"A singer, accompanied by a synthesizer and darbuka."
That means it is NOT traditional. It's based on traditional Turkish Roma melody and rhythm but it's different and not traditional for Istanbul but for north western Turkey and for Roma people.
nice proximity recording, and quite funny sound!
