Faked sound with a person with microphone standing close to the crater. It is about a volcano that has frequent mini eruptions, but enough sound to make the decibel meter pass 130 dB. Volcano eruptions like in the photo are characterized by a constant bombardment of lava that is thrown hundreds of meters, simultaneously with low frequency boooms. As lots of gas is pressed out through so called blow-holes, there is a constant background hiss. It's only madmen who are busy in this class of geophysists.
