On a deck that crosses a bog on a hiking/biking/jogging trail, you can hear insects and birds wake up in the morning. You can also hear a jogger pass by, a weird chirping-dog-sound (naturalists - please help me identify this), trucks in the distance picking up trash from the houses on the bog (interesting juxtaposition of nature and civilization), dogs barking, and mosquitoes dive-bomb the microphone. The microphone faced away from the houses across the bog. This recording was made at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, VA, USA on the morning of 21 August 2007 with a Zoom H4. Light post-production work done in Peak.

this is a perfect counter-balance of nature for my noise track, thank you!
