FIRE -A rumble sound, designed and crafted to exhibit consistent clipping, drives a GENELEC 1091A active subwoofer. On top, a 4x385x240-mm plywood board stands on it and is made to vibrate by the air column of the loudspeaker. On theboard, there is a pot containing hot oil, and some water drops are spilled onto it. Sound is captured by a Beyerdynamic MCD-101 omnidirectional digital microphone positioned at about 30-cm from the boiling oil.--------- documentation ---------The battle of the elements, by the vipS collective: http://www.soundobject.org/elements/
