One of the doors in the apartment building where we stayed in St Petersburg. Wonderful squeaking and groaning hinges. The door is a solid sheet of metal, and it would resonate with the vibrations from the hinges. This recording also includes the sounds of the door slamming and of locking and unlocking. I recorded from a few different angles, so there are also sounds of me moving things around. Recorded with a Zoom H2 on 04 September 2012.
