It's a recording of a thunder strike.
You can hear some people chating in the beginning, a car passing by, lots of insects in the bushes, even some dog barking in the background and of course a nice thunder-strike.
The storm was close enough to sound like this, but far enough to make the sound free from rain noise, which is rare. Too bad it has other noises in it.
Made with hand held Zoom H2, internal rear stereo mics used. Edited and normalized with Audacity.
Originally 96kHz/24-bit WAV.
I recorded this during a bicycle trip, hence the name.
