A group of gamelan players situated not too far from a busy city road, so some siren noise at the beginning. The rest of the recording is pretty clean from city noise. Sony M-10.

I would also add: as this is a re-upload, some information from the original description is missing and even quite difficult to recall. I'll try.

My position in this recording is almost central in the performance. In the beginning there was only one or two players, then more people gradually arrived and started playing their instruments.

There are some audible audience voices, but not overwhelming to the recording.

You might also notice the recording level is adjusted over time as it became progressively louder. Had to be done I'm afraid, as I do like loud recordings.

I don't often write such long descriptions, but this is one of my favourite recordings and deserves more than a couple of sentences. There ya go :)
