A large bird in a tree making such a funny and strange call. Sometimes he flies to other trees. According to klankbeeld this bird is a Montezuma oropendola. Thanks to you for figuring that out for me, klankbeeld!
Recorded with a pair of Sound Professional binaural mics (MS-TFB-2) inside a Rode Blimp into a modified Marantz PMD661.

thanks, very great. i slowed it down to hear the structure: https://nathandhorowitz.bandcamp.com/track/sloropendola.
a rising screech, repeated about five times with greater and greater intensity, atop a layer of bass bubbles that end in a bellow -- is what i hear. i wonder if the dinosaurs sounded like that.
